Learning from Movies

I’ve had people specifically tell me that they are visual learners and that reading is not easiest learning method. Luckily there are hundreds of films from which you can learn A LOT about Judaism. One site that is particularly fun is Rabbi at the Movies.  It’s a mini course just to browse through the film reviews by Rabbi Ruth Adar, AKA the Coffee Shop Rabbi. Pick a genre, like comedy, or a subject, like mysticism, and then check out what films will help you explore.

You can read other posts about Jewish films here. Many Jewish films are readily available on streaming services. Watch a movie and you can say, “I was studying for the last hour!”
