Where Can I Access Shabbat Services Online?

With COVID-19 impacting the entire world synagogues have moved rapidly to online services where ever possible. Orthodox congregations are not allowed to use electricity on the Sabbath. You can get on the email list for those synagogues and they will email members, and you, when they have programming available. They are quite creative about their offerings.

Beth Am in Los Altos, Reform
Temple Beth Abraham, Oakland, Conservative – please note that the live stream link is only available in real time. OR you can go to Rabbi Bloom’s YouTube Channel!
Peninsula Temple Beth El, Foster City, Reform
Temple Sinai, Oakland, Reform – live streams their Shabbat services on Facebook. You can “like” their page and get their videos. Find them here.
Chochmat HaLev, Berkeley, calls their Friday night service, Cultivating the Wisdom of Our Hearts. Here are the details on their website.
Congregation Beth Jacob, Redwood City, Conservative – Congregation Beth Jacob live streams their services from their website.
Temple Isaiah, Lafayette, Reform – access their live streams from their website.
Etz Chayim, Palo Alto, Reform – Streaming services info on their website.
Temple Emanuel, San Jose – Reform, see their website for streaming services.
Congregation Emanu-el, San Francisco, Reform, streaming services, see their website.
Temple Israel, Alameda, Reform – Erev Shabbat services (Friday night) are online using Zoom. Email office@templeisraelalameda.org to be invited! Many of the services are lay-led.
