Conversion to Judaism

Everything You Always Wanted to Know, But Were Afraid to Ask

Conversion is a scary topic — mostly for Jews. But it is inevitable that some non-Jewish partners will begin to think about becoming Jewish. It is also a fact that some Jews wish their non-Jewish spouse would convert. But talking to each other can be difficult. Come hear from a panel of people who have converted (and one who is in the process) to learn more. Jewish law forbids “reminding” a convert of their non-Jewish roots. That means you let the convert bring up their conversion – or not – and you keep your mouth shut. In this workshop you can ask all the questions you’ve had no one to ask.
