Community Seders 2012

Many synagogues and Jewish Community Centers hold Second night seders, fewer hold First night seders. Here are some FIRST NIGHT options.

First Night Community Seders
The first night of Passover, Friday, April 6.

In Palo Alto at Etz Chayim Congregation there are THREE Seders to choose from.
Three different Seders, in three different rooms, all happening at the same time. All three seders will offer a catered kosher-for-Passover chicken or vegetarian dinner option.
Seder reservations are due this Friday, 3/30

Rabbi Ari Cartun will reprise the Glee Seder with provocative conversation and modern and traditional songs for about two hours before dinner.

Rabbinic Intern, Ilana Goldhaber-Gordon will lead the popular On One Foot Seder for adults and children who like it short and sweet. Ilana will lead us in singing, dancing and shtick. If you have any tambourines, maracas, or other small percussion instruments, bring them along! The seder will last one hour before dinner.

Join Rabbi Rachel Solomin and her fuzzy sidekick Shalom Dubi for Musical Tot Seder, a 30-minute hands-on seder with music, games, and stories. Enlivened by Rabbi Rachel’s special brand of warmth and humor, this seder will be followed by dinner together.
