If you are on my email list you just received an invitation to request a pair of free tickets to see a film at the San Francisco Jewish Film Festival. As a partner with the Film Festival, Building Jewish Bridges always receives a couple of free tickets that we offer to our folks on the mailing list. If you haven’t subscribed, do it before the next Festival!
Another lovely partner is the Jewish Baby Network who send me a list of their August activities. I’ll share a couple below and more again next week.

I had the extremely sad experience of calling a friend the day after her father died. The background sounded odd so I asked her, “where are you?” She replied, “Buying my dad’s coffin.” I was determined that my children would not have to go through that so my husband and I met with Cara and got EVERYTHING planned. Cara is very kind. Feel free to tell her you know me.
