Death and Mourning in Jewish Tradition: Some resources

One of the bay area synagogues recently sent out these three links to assist their members in renewing or learning the details of Jewish mourning. There are the kind of things you want to know in advance. Interfaith couples should consider whether these practices have meaning for the Jewish partner as well as whether they feel uncomfortable to the non-Jewish partner.  I suggest you consider these rituals while you are healthy and not in distress. If you have children who are old enough to talk about these kinds of sensitive topics, I suggest you ask them their opinions on your end-of-life decisions. Remember, you will be gone; they will be grieving.
