Some quick reminders for this week

Heads up! My program, Honoring Your Jewish Child’s Non-Jewish Heritage will now be entirely online. You can sign up to receive the Zoom link here.
It is still cosponsored with Temple Sinai and New Lehrhaus.
If you are not able to attend on Tuesday, March 29 at 7pm, you can register and you will automatically get a link to the recorded event.

I Love My Work!
Often people send me interesting questions and comments. When I posted the above program I heard from a woman who told me that she is from an interfaith family and feels she is part Jewish. She is a single mom and wants to raise her child partly Jewish too. There are just so many elements in that statement that indicate that she has to sort out her own unique path. Everyone must determine their own approach to Jewish engagement. I hope you’ll share your questions and interests with me.

A few things…
Encanto
Have you seen Encanto? Well, now you can hear the songs in Hebrew! How fun is that!
See this article and scroll down to the songs.

Ukraine
Do you have relatives in or from Ukraine? The resistance and resilience of the Ukrainian people is heroic. You can give to the people through many avenues. Here are some Jewish ones that are listed on the front page of Temple Sinai. Check other synagogue sites for their recommendations.

Putin’s War & Ukrainian Jews: A discussion
The San Francisco JCC recently hosted Putin’s War on Ukraine. Dr. Natan Meir and Meylakh Sheykhet shared insight on the complex relationship between Ukraine and Russia and the impact on Ukraine’s Jewry.
The JCC uploaded the video to YouTube and you can see it here.
You can see more info about the SF JCC here.

Stay safe!
