First Night Seder
Passover seder for Young Children – and Parents!
Led by Rabbi Bridget Wynne, this seder is especially for 2 to 7 year olds. Younger and older children are also welcome. Please join us! No Jewish knowledge or experience is necessary. The Seder will include a light, kosher, kid-friendly meal, served picnic style. Please bring a blanket or pillows to sit on.

Community First Night Passover Seder
Join us for a warm, lively and interactive celebration. All are welcome and no Jewish experience or knowledge is necessary. Full Kosher dinner with wine.

Passover First Night Seder
Rabbis Steve Fisdel and Tsvi Bar-David will co-lead a Kabbalistic Pesach Seder in Petaluma on the first night of Pesach, rich in the teachings of the Kabbalah on Pesach.
Food: potluck California Kosher for Pesach: hearty vegetarian, dairy, fish with fins and scales. All grain (e.g. wheat) products must be matzah or otherwise kosher for Passover. Please cook your dish at home as we have no kitchen at the facility.
No alcohol served, only grape juice.

Temple Sinai’s Annual Community Seder
Join Rabbi Steven Chester and lovely cantorial soloist, Elaya Jenkins-Adelberg, to retell the story of Passover, enjoy delicious food catered by Z Café, meet friends – old and new, and sing!

Temple Israel Seder
Join your Temple family in our traditional second night seder. We will read the haggadah as we dine together “family style.” The meal will include honey-glazed chicken, matzo ball soup, salad, roast potatoes, vegetables, chopped liver and dessert. (A vegetarian entree & vegetarian matzo ball soup are also available by advance reservation only.) Grape juice will be provided.
Bring your own seder plate and kosher-for-Passover wine. We will provide all the other ritual items (including bitter herbs, matzo, charoset, roasted egg etc.)

Temple Beth Hillel’s Annual Community Seder
Open to everyone, the family friendly Seder will be held at Temple Beth Hillel on Tuesday, April 19th, at 5:30 pm. Join us in the telling of the story, eating ritual foods, drinking wine/grape juice and singing Passover melodies led by Cantor Howard Cohen and Rabbi Dean Kertesz. A delicious feast, with vegetarian option upon request, is included.
Tickets are $30 each for non-member adults, $18 each for children ages 7-12, and $8 each for children 3-6. Participants are asked to bring a kosher-for-Passover dessert to share. Seating is limited so reserve early. For more information, call 510-223-2560. We hope you will join us!

Second Night Kids Seder

There are Three Second-Night Seders at Etz Chayim in Palo Alto
The Magical Mystery Tour Seder led by our Education Director Melissa Rogoway features songs from Jewish communities around the world and lasts about one hour before dinner.
The GLEE Seder led by Rabbi Ari Cartun will combine a bounty of modern and traditional songs and lasts around 2 hours before dinner.
The Musical Tot Seder is geared to families with pre-schoolers and lasts about 30 minutes before dinner.
All seders are catered by the incomparable Wendy Kleckner of Too Caterers and are strictly kosher for Passover.

Sherith Israel’s Annual Community Seder
Celebrate freedom and family
The crunch of matzah, the four questions, jumping frogs, wine and songs… join us as we retail the story of our people’s journey from Egypt to the Promised Land.
Rabbi Larry Raphael, Rabbi Julie Saxe-Taller and Cantor Rita Glassman, accompanied by song-leader Joel Siegel, lead us through the family-friendly Hagaddah from bondage to freedom. The celebration continues with a wonderful dinner catered by Town’s End Restaurant.
